One and and a half minutes...

Go on - press play...

This will determine if you really think we might be able to work together.  If you can get past the horrible hat head of thinning hair, if you don't develop epilepsy from the 50 slices of my fragmented character, if you kind of think mmmm, we're going to be talking the same language...so to speak - well we're half way there.

So that's me, and you can check out the photographs I love to take throughout this little website beyond this page. And if it all feels like we know each other already, send me a quick hello

philosophy...

I simply believe in capturing genuine emotion, and powerful candid moments, in such a way that the people in my photographs don’t even know I’m there. It’s your Wedding Day, not mine. I want you to celebrate it with all the love and creativity that brings you to that point, without regard of how you might feel a Photographer expects you to be. You and your Wedding are perfect already.

In the case of Creative Portraiture all I ask is for you to stand before the camera momentarily presenting yourselves as you are. The standing part is normally pretty easy, but if not, feel free to sit. I write that with a smile on my face, but dare not suggest you lie down. Seriously though, I believe in capturing portraits of my clients, with complete honesty, open heartedness, and disregard to preconceived notions of posing or staging. These images are more often than not the one’s that make the mantle piece and will be some of your favourite photographs. I do believe though, that they can be captured in a short period of time and without taking away from your Wedding Day in anyway.

As a Documentary Wedding Photographer my art and craft is to capture our beautiful truth. To do this I have no other way of being, than completely connected to my environment and to my photographic subject, in heart and in spirit.
